TRONAID - Mystical Celtic Knots - ARMUAN - The Warrior
The sword and shield were the Celtic warrior's weapons of choice. The face-to-face combat with an adversary, and the utter courage it required, commanded the respect of his people. Still, the warrior's first choice was peace. The vertical sword with a shield over it was a symbol of peace, because that was how they looked when hung up on a wall. The warrior was proud of his weapons, but he was still more proud when he didn't need them. Though they were dedicated to the service of his King, the warrior owned his own sword and shield. To have them on the wall showed his willingness to serve. And service to others is the jewel in the heart of the warrior's way.
