MITZVAH - The Hebrew Collection - FLOWER OF LIFE
The Flower of Life is composed of seven or more evenly-spaced, overlapping circles arranged in a flower like pattern with six fold symmetry like a hexagon. It is considered to be a symbol of sacred geometry, said to contain ancient, religious value depicting the fundamental forms of space and time - a type of Akashic Record of basic information of all living things. The Flower of Life symbol can be found throughout history in manuscripts, temples and art around the world. The temple of Osiris in Abydos, Egypt contains what is presumed to be the oldest example dating back at least 6,000 years. Figures as prominent as Leonardo da Vinci ascribed significance to the Flower of Life and three similar symbols, called the “Egg of Life”, the “Fruit of Life” and the “Seed of Life”.
Pendants come on legend cards with a 33-inch long black cord. Fine lead-free pewter. Packaged on recycled paper cards.
